Last year 13 motorcyclists were killed on Northern Ireland’s roads. This makes motorcyclists one of the most vulnerable groups on our roads.
Rule 211 of The Highway Code NI says that it is often difficult to see motorcyclists and cyclists, especially when they are coming up from behind, coming out of junctions, at roundabouts, overtaking you or filtering through traffic.
So when you’re driving always Be Biker Aware – Take another look.
